"Jinkies!" - Velma Dinkley, Scooby DooIf someone would ask my mother what cartoon character she think I look like the most, Velma would be the character she'd be most likely to reply. And with my love for cartoons (and cartoon cosplays) this was just something waiting to happen!

The costume is very good and you're pretty in the right way, but what makes this picture is your expression. You're channeling the girl, really you are -- and she's not even real.

Ah, on the morepart no. I made the skirt, but that's the only thing I can take credit for. I was lucky enough to find a great orange turtle neck in one store and a pair of matching orange knee socks in another!

Well, freckles aren't normally visible from that length, so it wouldn't look very good if I drew them in. I have other photos where they are visible, though, so don't worry about it.
And, no of course not - I'm wearing a wig.

Whaaaat? Don't you think I look hot look wise in that sweater? D: *laughs* Okay seriously, it is a bit warm (which is really nice during the winter, let me tell you that!) but that's not my main concern with it. My big problem with that sweater is the fact that it's incredibly itchy.
