this is mochi the beagle... looking very sad... i started this on june 19, 2007 and worked on it a little, then went off to camp for two weeks and came back and finished it on july 10, 2007... this is a kinda bad photo of the drawing, but i will soon have access to a scanner so this is just a placeholder...[edit (8/11/2007): just scanned this so the quality is a bit better cause i think the original photo was slightly blurry...]

A nice rendition of a photo reference, cute puppies are always a good sucker punches for subjects. I am impressed with the pencilling done on it's fur, not only recreating the fine texture of the fur but also applying every shade consistently with the different colour patches of his fur.
Even the puppy's nose and eyes have been drawing impressively well, I can see the light of his pupils reflecting from his eyes, that's really good!
Your skill with pencils is impressive, your still-life ability is commendable.
