the expression make a great shot. if you dont mind, what sort of metering did you use? the whites of the sun seem well blown out(street and around him), however his face is well exposed for a nice contrast. well done.

I also wish to interpret this piece as some bearded lad's honest grin of relief (& celebration?)
at the fact that he has caught wind that "the end" of the world, has FINALLY arrived! (smirk) Perhaps he had JUST enough time to fetch his top hat & to make the cheerful sign which he holds shamelessly in the middle of the road tipping his hat, gleefully saluting whatever or whomever may have brought "the end" to all who despise existence so compassionately?
