I know this is kind of a controversial topic, but after writing an article on the Senkaku Islands dispute for school I decided to make an OC! He(?) will appear in my NiChu doujin, either as a central role or with his own separate story.

Here are my character notes for him/her~

Isolated, antisocial, distrustful, apprehensive, solitary, suspicious

Big on fish (bonito)

Mascot: Senkaku mole

Not unfamiliar with military technology (due to use as an American jet fighter firing range at some point)

Gender undetermined as of yet

Spent first part of its life in peace but is now surrounded by unrest

Is greatly unsettled by the recent conflict between Japan and China over it, and especially all the military forces and vehicles they send in

Distrustful of all nearby nations, even "big brother" Japan

Doesn't care who controls it in the end as long as it is mostly left alone

Despises Japan and China's greed, since they mainly only acknowledged it after they discovered oil and gas on the islands
