"Mortals were more afraid of fairies then, but not Ariadne, she was different and unlike her fellow humans. She would not let herself be afraid anything. A woman who was passionate about certain things that others had taken for granted long ago, a quality in her that had admired greatly. Every now and then i would watch her when as an owl in the woods where she came to be one with nature, enjoying the company of the creatures there who were actually of my world in the guise of normal woodland animals that belonged to the world aboveground. She would at times pretend to be their princess and talk with them occasionally as she would to a dear friend.
At home in her village people could not understand the girl and were weary of her. Her mother worried about her going out to the woods alone, she would rather have her daughter stay at home and work on the ridiculous and unnecessary chores that came to her not so sane mind. Ariadne was unfortunate to have a mad mother who would often go on gibbering to herself. This was not descended down to her through the family bloodline for all of them were perfectly sane. No it was something else that sent her mother into this madness of hers, something that she was never told for her own wellbeing.
Though she lived as you say 'unfair' life, Ariadne was happy as long as she could go to edge of the darkened woods which was her favorite place to be than any other."-the different story of Ariadne.
