i stARTED DRAWING THIS THE OTHER DAY and then i forgotso heres sectonia in a lolita outfit, requested by !
i wasnt going to do gijinka at first, but i kind of ended up drawing human sectonia anyway >U>;
i tried classic lolita, but it clearly isnt really my forte :d
although my sectonia is a little childish, it seemed more fitting for her than something like sweet lolita (much to my disappointment, because i love sweet lolita)
either way, this was super fun! next, i might make that dark matter swordsman gijinka
or a gijinka of the magolor beta dude idk

Sectonia is lolita is such a fitting mental image, but it also... sort of isn't, because she's just such a huge, imposing, classically-beautiful figure XD So her in lolita is good but unexpected.

yeah, lolita is a particularly cutesy and childish style most of the time, and seems to be a more elegant character
having said that, with her being a little childish and bratty in my headcanons, it almost does fit :d

I don't deny that Sectonia certainly has the potential to be a spoilt brat XD It fits her so well. In my headcanon she's more just downright vain and infinitely confident.

yeah, i understand why gijinkas arent everyones thing. personally, half the reason why i like kirby is because of the big scary monsters and the cute little creatures. something about drawing gijinkas is just really fun for me though :0c

drawing should always be something enjoyable, so drawing something that isnt enjoyable isnt such a good idea
i spent ages trying to get better at drawing animals like wolves because the only place i could post my art for a long time was somewhere where people more or less completely ignored you unless you drew a wolf or a my little pony character
as much as i like animals, most of the time, drawing them is about as interesting to me as watching paint dry

ive had to turn down art trades and commissions before because most of the time people only ever want me to draw wolf-like adoptable creatures ajfkdsjk
yeah, i get why people would mostly only pay attention to art of stuff they like, but it does make it pretty difficult for the artists
i basically only ever draw fanart (except just recently, with this new world thing im making), but on the previously mentioned site, basically nobody even knows about the kirby series other than "theres a pink puffball and maybe a penguin i guess". and most of the stuff i ever do is kirby stuff ;w;
