Actually I thought about this and I will talkk about it in the voice over speedpaint later! Their visions cancel each other out, so she cant see the past of future but she can see multiple current realities, like how in Too Many Stevens or whatever that episode was called there were multiple Stevens from different timelines, she can see what could be happening in the moment but isn't.

I'm now thinking of that one AU that takes place in the timeline that future Steven left to go back in time in Steven and the Stevens(and so disappears from that timeline and Pearl is sad)
