Description another Bitterblue-fanart..she does not exactly appear in the books, but i had a clear imagination of Ashen. somebody told me, she looks too strict. but i figured that she had so much sorrow in her live, you had to see it in her face, dont you think?
well, i hope you like it((:

(Ashen belongs to Kristin Cashore)

I've only read Graceling and Fire, but this is great! I especially love the hair texture.

This is exactly how she should look. Proud and strong and sad as well. No wonder with a husband like that... I love how you describe her struggle! I never thought about it like that... but that must have been a big part of her life... struggling to remember.

Beautiful, and yes very powerful... Ashen is a beautiful character and you feel her despair in the book, even though she doesnt appear directly! I also LOVE the crown!

Ashen is from "Bitterblue" by rstin Cashore. Cashore is a fantastic fantasy-author. i love all her books, the other two are called "fire" and "graceling" . i most appreciate Fire you really should read it! this books are some of the best fantasy stories iยดve ever read.
thank youu

Cool! I'll be sure to check it out sometime! The titles sound so...dramatic... I can't wait to read the books! I mean, if you read Percy Jackson, you must have a good taste in books.
And you're welcome!

This is beautiful! I like how she looks older. Her life has really taken toll on her and you expressed that really well! I also love the hair

VERY well drawn, also, she looks almost like I imagined her, but somehow, I thought she would look younger xD but your explanation makes sense

i a younger woman in my head, too, but logic forced me to make her older. of course she was, what, like 18? when she came to Monsea with Leck. so she must have been about 30, assuming it took them one year to get Bitterblue. so she had to have some lines...mh..it would be interesting o draw her and Leck when she thought she was in love with him or something - a young, happy Ashen..
anyways, iยดm glad you like it!!
