The minute Rainkit was birthed, Scorchclan was covered in a small drizzle. Many cats believed that Rainkit was the cause of this downpour, and that it was a sign from Starclan that he was meant to be someone important.

Rainpaw was never fond of the attention the rains after his birth brought him, and he tended to seclude himself to avoid any conversations about it. He was certain it was just a coincidence that it had rained, after all, why would a tiny kit cause attention from Starclan? Instead, he focused on training and hunting, to make himself someone to look up to, not because of a "prophecy".
