Description
I drew this as a birthday surprise for my mother
But owing to a general severe lack of time, I was unable to finish it.... 
But hopefully I shall be able to finish it soon! I just need to finish my commissions first, as well as concentrate on university tests I just needed to upload something

This is really brilliant. Never been a fan of the fan art of TLK nore disney like style but this is quite nice. i like the fact that Sarabi actually has teeth :3 and Simba isn't a short-arse :3 Well done.

I love seeing Simba & Sarabi together. There wasn't enough of that in the movie so I love seeing the fan-art pieces like these! I think having a mother, or a mother-like figure, in a Disney movie is a rare occasion. Sarabi was such a great mother & I really wish they could have emphasized that so much more by having more scenes with Simba. BUT OH, WELL.
Anyway, excellent job here! I'm sure your mother will adore it, too!

What can I say - I just love the look of Sarabi on this one, CherryJam. I've never seen anyone draw her like you did - she's just... So... I'm totally speechless. She's beautiful. The lineart is really precise and neat, I just love every little bit of it. Nice job on that! And on the coloring too. The only thing that troubles me is the fact, that our little Simba looks kinda... skinny on this one. More like a cheetah, not this strong lion cub we've been used to watch. The capture of emotions though it just incredible - but Sarabi... She looks so beautiful! And this smile, and the eyes... Great job! You've really torn me apart with this drawing.
