Description Piko is sad.

Not just as in 'sad' sad. It's 'I-must-not-be-good-enough' sad.

Maybe he should've listened to Luka to not read the reviews on the internet, because what they say about him just... hurts. It wasn't his fault that he doesn't sound like what those fans expected of, or that he's harder to get used to (at least his looks did make the worst of the worst to be unmentionable). He sighed.

Critics are harsh.

"You okay there, Piko-chan?" Piko turned around to where the voice is, and realizes it was Len. He gave a smile, and waved it off.

"It's nothing, it still feels like I can't get used to everything... yet," he said. The blonde raised an eyebrow. He knew what's going on from those tiny words scribbled on the screen.

"Are you reading those comments in the internet? It's full of horseshit!" Len exclaimed.

"LEN!!! WHAT DID I TOLD YOU ABOUT SWEARING?!" Len and Piko winced when the loud shrill of a shriek reached to the room.

"I DIDN'T SWEAR! I WAS... I WAS READING COMICS AND THEY GOT SWEAR WORDS TOO!!" Len answered back with the same loud voice as his twin sister, Rin. Len swears that Rin must have ears to detect swearing within a 2 kilometre-long radius.

"WELL DON'T YOU DARE SWEAR AT THIS HOUSEHOLD OR I'LL GET KAITO!!!" Len poked his tongue towards the open door and crossed his arms.

"Hmph, like swearing brings us down..." Piko chuckled at Len's immaturity.

"Well, she's your sister, and you know the rules of the house," Piko said.

"Anyway! Those internet comments, yeah, I hate them too. They're quite harsh towards not only me, or Rin, but to everyone in the business of being a vocaloid. It's a tough world out there, and we're the lucky ones," Len bent down to look closer at what was written on the laptop and made a face. "It's even harder down on you."

Piko sighed. "I guess I'm not really that good..."

"No you aren't!" Len gave a hard smack on Piko's back, "You just need... well... some time to get used to!"

"Gee, thanks for the encouragement," Piko rolled his eyes.

"LEN! HURRY UP! IT'S OUR TURN FOR A DUET!" Rin screamed.

"COMING!!!" Len gave a smile to Piko and waved as he ran out of the room, his footsteps pounding loudly and slowly faded away. Piko then turned back towards his laptop and shut it down; he didn't felt like wanting to get any closer to it for now.
He stood up and decided to walk around the hallways, wanting to make his mind pre-occupied on something else. Maybe there would be some songs for him to sing, or a duet with the other vocaloids (if there were offers), or get his voice to improve-- No, no! He shouldn't think of that!

Piko was so distracted with his mind that he didn't notice that he stepped on the USB cord line attached to his clothes; it was too late to react as he fell down face first to the floor.

Piko groaned in pain. Why, oh why did they give him such clothes? He looked more mechanical than the others, and he thought that having heterochromic eyes were bad enough. Maybe he should blame himself since there was a photo-shoot this morning and he didn't bother to change his clothes after that.

Stupid me, Piko thought.

"Are you okay?" A deep voice asked. Piko looked up and blushed. There kneeling down with a knee with his arm stretched out for the white-haired boy, long purple hair tied back and kept in place with a pair of chopsticks, his clothes liking to that of a casual yukata, a beautiful smile coming with a beautiful face that can deceive anyone of his gender, is Kamui Gakupo.

"Y-yes," Piko stuttered. He was in awe at Gakupo's beauty and voice ever since he joined in as part of the family. Though 'family' was close to be something else than your ordinary family of structured lines. Nevertheless, the white-haired boy did accept the samurai's hand and pulled himself up and thanked him.

"Something's bothering you, isn't it?" Gakupo asked while Piko is dusting his clothes.

"No," Piko lied. But the samurai isn't fooled.

"Why not come to my room and talk about it? It's just nearby," Gakupo offered as he smiled. Piko couldn't say no to his offer, and really, that smile is just weakening his resistance (not that he had any when in front of Gakupo, but that's another story). Gakupo either has very old-fashioned taste or that he likes things kept simple in his own surroundings, because his room reminds Piko of those ryokans he'd seen before in magazines. Tatami floors, a closet with sliding doors made of paper to keep the samurai's clothes and extra futons, a low table with a couple of cushions on two sides, with the only few modern appliances are the bathroom, a laptop and an alarm clock. There were no lights as Gakupo has a habit to change between candlelight or electric ones. Other than that, it was like being sent back to the 19th century.

"Sit down and make yourself feel comfortable," Gakupo sat down on his futon while waiting for Piko to sit down by the other end before Piko can start explaining. The white-haired boy didn't know why, but it felt so oddly comfortable and easy to explain to the samurai his problems, the purple-haired man nodding once in a while, not stopping Piko until he stopped.

"So that's been quite an annoyance to you," Gakupo finally talked. Piko meekly nodded, his hands gripping on the ends of his clothes. The samurai shuffled slightly and sat closer to Piko.

"To tell you the truth, I had the same problem as you had back when I joined in," Gakupo said. Piko looked up in surprise.

"R-really?"

"Really," Gakupo said. "There were times that I felt like I needed to keep my stance strong and continue on, but there were other times where all I wanted was to lock myself in my room, and hide further into my shell. The latter wouldn't be good, I am what I am, so I kept strong and became what I am today."

Piko blinked. So Gakupo did suffered like him, but stayed strong and brave. Piko felt so small, he didn't have the self-confidence brimming like everyone else, especially like the samurai himself.

"I don't t-think I-I can be like you, Gakupo-sama... I'm just not s-strong enough," Piko muttered by himself and looked down at his legs. There was another shuffling, much noisier before he noticed his chin got lifted up by large, strong hands and his heterochromic eyes were forced to look at a pair of blue eyes.

"Maybe I can share you some of mine," Gakupo said, smiling as he leaned closer. Piko blushed, his face getting redder. He never noticed how beautiful and handsome a creature like Gakupo could be when face-to-face.

"H-h-h-how?" Piko stuttered.

"Just relax, and don't stop me." Before Piko could do anything, Gakupo leaned closer and then their lips were sealed with each other.

Piko's eyes widened at first, unable to believe what is happening. He wanted to think it's a dream and he can push it all away at once and bury it deep, deep down to the pit where he'll never find it. But Gakupo's lips were stilled attached to his, and slowly Piko closed his eyes and let instinct to find its way. Gakupo gave a soft, firm kiss, his tongue seaming across the white-haired boy's lips, as if asking for entrance. When he felt Piko loosening up below him and opened up slightly to moan, Gakupo took advantage of it and slid his tongue in. Piko hesitated, unsure of what to do when he has the samurai's tongue inside and licking about until Piko timidly pressed his own tongue against Gakupo's.

It was a sensation that was both exciting and enjoying as the two vocaloids danced with their tongues against each other, from soft and sensual to hard and breath-taking. Piko wrapped his arms around Gakupo's neck while the samurai pulled Piko closer with his arms on the white-haired boy's waist. When their mouths parted, their tongues still cling on, making love to the open air. They continued on for a few more minutes until they had to part away, breathless and in need of air.

"G…Gaku…" Piko murmured the samurai's name, half-lidded eyes looking at Gakupo.

"How do you feel now?" Gakupo asked.

"B-b-better…" Piko answered, face flushed. The samurai smiled, lifting up his right hand on Piko's hips and stroked his soft, white hair. "B-but… What was t-that k-kiss for?"

"To tell you that it gets better soon, so don't be down. I don't like seeing my Piko-chan feeling down," Gakupo said, his smile soft and serene. Piko's smile widened as he hugged the samurai, his cheek to the other's chest. Gakupo got shocked for a bit but soon hugged back, his hand caressing Piko's back.

"Thank you, Gaku-nii."

"You're welcome."

"And… I love you," Piko blushed when he said that. That statement only made the samurai's heart flutter.

"I love you too, Piko-chan," Gakupo said.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Hey, Piko-kun, check this out!" Len called out to the white-haired vocaloid, to which Piko looked up from playing with his kitty plush toy.

"What is it?" Piko walked over to where Len is standing behind Kaito who was sitting down with a laptop on his lap.

"Kaito found it, it's about you," Len took Kaito's laptop away from the ice-cream loving vocaloid, which caused the blue-haired man to 'tsk' at Len for doing so. At first Piko thought it's going to be bad, but he was wrong. There're comments that like his voice and songs, praising him, adoring him. Piko blinked as he couldn't believe what he saw a week ago had changed so much.

"Gaku-nii is right, it does get better." At the same time he said that, the samurai walked into the living room, coming back from what he had been telling Piko is some 'business to attend'. Gakupo smiled when he saw Piko, leaning his head down while his hand lifted the white-haired boy's chin up.

"Hello Piko-chan," the samurai leant down and gently kissed Piko on the lips. Len whistled at them, making Piko blush.

"I see you two have been getting to know each other more~" Len sang.  Piko ignored both Len and Kaito's teasing as he continues to read on the reviews. But something is not right; it's as if these comments were kind of, how do you say? Over exaggerated? And too glossed-over? Piko suspects that these reviews had something to do with the purple-haired samurai.

"Gaku-nii, what have you been doing the past week?" Piko asked, looking at the samurai with dead-serious eyes. Gakupo just smiled, and ruffled his hair.

"Like I said, I had some businesses to be dealt with," Gakupo answered, while his other hand just clings on to his sword.

*~OMAKE~*

"They're just reviews!" A man pleaded before he got kicked hard and his body slammed to the wall. Around him, some of his co-mates were either on the ground unconscious or hiding under their desks. A purple-haired samurai slowly walked up to him and pulled him up by his shirt collar.

"I-I swear, we tested it and based it on people's comments!" the man stuttered.

"I don't give a fuck about that. You have two choices," Gakupo looked at the man, who is responsible for the website he ran, with deadly eyes.

"You can change them. Or," suddenly Gakupo took out a tantō and held it horizontally by the man's neck, pressing the blade close to the skin, "you can say goodbye to your friends right now."

Sweat trickled down on the man's face as it took only a few seconds to make up his mind.

"Okay, okay! I'll do what you say! J-just let me go!" The man pleaded. Satisfied, Gakupo let go of him, making the man fall to the ground and crumple up his body in fear. The samurai and walked towards the door. Before stepping out of the door, Gakupo turned his head and smiled at the scared man while taking out his fan.

"I'm glad we had a nice compromise for this business exchange," the samurai said, walking away while fanning his face. Ah, such is a hard way he has to do his 'businesses', now only 3 more to be dealt with.

Aww ;W; oh Piko, my dear Piko ;w; a lot of people don't like you... they say you sound like Lily. *sigh* They also say you're too girly and that you look like Miki (...whut? >_>)
But you're my favourite since I knew that Piko-tan was going to have a VOCALOID. ;W; Piko and Sekihan are my favourite Utaites, I was so happy! ;v; Now I want a Sekihan VOCALOID
However I've got all the japanese VOCALOIDs, and I use Piko a lot °v° I love his voice, people think he sounds girly, but he can sing also very low, like the real Piko! And he's not so difficult to use like some people say ._. Len Kagamine act.1 is a lot, A LOT more difficult to use , but people love him anyway .-.
It seems like in the VOCALOID fandom, the most people like VOCALOIDs just if they're popular and they don't care about their voices. There are people who only like Crypton's ones because they're famous. Once on YT i talked about Piko and a person asked "who's Utatane Piko?" I answered "It's a new VOCALOID!", "oh, it's by Crypton?", "No, it's by Sony.", "Ah, really? Then I don't care." ...... .__. so stupid.
I hope more Nico Nico Douga Producers will use the new VOCALOIDs to sing their songs... if they continue to use almost only Miku, people will never know how amazing the new VOCALOIDs are. :3
I think HYBRID SENSE is going to make some songs for Piko in the future. I heard him using Piko and Miku during a NicoLive. Maybe he's going to make them duet... that would be beautiful! °w°

Girly? *looks at the pictures of IZAM, Ryohei (Megamasso), Bou, Rame (Vidoll), GACKT in Koakuma Heaven, Asagi (D), Miyavi, Yoshiki, Hizaki, and Kaya* Who's girly in my eyes that have seen cross-dressed men whom look so much prettier than a girl who does makeup and act too girly for their own good? XD

ALL OF THEM? How did you afford it? I can only have this certain limit to myself buying CDs, DVDs and magazines for visual kei o_o

I already like Pico the way he is, and I find that (so far) vocaloid Piko and Gakupo don't sound so bad. You just need to find a really good programmer to make use of their vocals =w=

One day I hope for more Gakupo and Piko, to see how much more potential do these two have :3

LOL I know X° but you know, people want MANRY MALE VOCALOIDS CUZ DEIR HAWT!!!11 .-.
I don't know the most of the people you mentioned, I'm not so much into visual kei X° I'm more into Nico Nico Douga's fandom -clear, Dasoku, Mi-chan, Sekihan, Piko, Pokota, Touyu, amu, Nodoame, Fukuwa, Yoppei, Rumdarjun, etc..-... but I'm a fan of Gackt, An Cafe and Malice Mizer... and the GazettE sometimes :3
By the way... "Who's girly in my eyes that have seen cross-dressed men whom look so much prettier than a girl who does makeup and act too girly for their own good?" lol I know right? XD After seeing Bou from An Cafe... well, I don't know what's "girly" anymore. XD We could say Takuya and Miku are girly too, but then what should we say about Bou? XD
(ah, did you know that Natsu-P, a NND Producer, created a visual band in VOCALOID? It's called Vana'N'Ice and the members are KAITO, Len Kagamine and Gakupo Kamui. 8D You can recognize it because in the PVs Len is always crossdressing. :3 Natsu-P made 4 PVs with them: IMITATION BLACK , Fate: Rebirth , Setsugetsuka and LOVELESSxxx .)

LOL I have my methods.

Did you hear Piko sing "Piko Piko☆Legend of the Night ?" by Samfree? (lolol I'd die to hear Sekihan sing it XD) And you should listen to Gakupo's "Paranoid Doll " by Natsu-P! Natsu-P is one of the best Producers in using Gakupo's voice, IMO! Duke Venomania's Madness is beautiful too.

I will see a good man when he keeps his words to be honest and makes me laugh. So for now, I am not affected by any distractions of wanting to sleep, marry or have him as a boyfriend. I like staying having my fandom men for... other uses >:3

When influenced or in Japan, you gotta get over the fact that it's hard to distinguish it XD

Lemme guess... you either downloaded the trail versions or actually bought some of them. Or both. >:3

Heard it? I've it heard it live, in his album and the vocaloid version right now XD
I like Paronoid Doll right now :3

Marilyn-Ross In reply to cherrylng [2011-05-16 15:11:30 +0000 UTC]

I like your style! It's the same for me.

In Japan there are no males of females. There are just... people. XD

Well, I... use to say that I bought them because if someday I get famous(???) I want people to think I use them legally... but actually I downloaded the cracked version: POCALOID. It's free, you can have all the VOCALOID2 voices and some problems of the original program are fixed. So why should I buy something they don't even release in my country? 8D ...bought them all, of course. 8D

°A° L-LIVE? ALBUM? If the VOCALOID version is the original, then who sings the version you listened to? Samfree or the real Piko? °3°

My style is hard to repeat! *does the thrusting move Gakupo is doing*

Young and old people :3

So, ore or less, you bought them... in a not so actual way but it is at the same time xD

Yes, didn't you know the real singer, Piko, released his first major album called 1PIKO and the song is right there, and he sang it too. My favourite song in the album right now is 二息歩行. Try and listen to it, it's awesome because both his muscular and feminine voice is there 8DDD

But you do gotta feel what it's like being the programmers who find a hard time to get his voice right in their songs. A lot of people adore Hatsune Miku because she's easier to use

(I don't know much about programming, but I try to make it sound close to what it feels like )
