EDIT 5: Just to clear the air here, I know that Sakine Meiko, Akita Neru, Yowane Haku, Kasane Teto, and Black Rock Shooter are not Vocaloids. Sakine Meiko is a fanmade vocaloid based off of MEIKO; Akita Neru and Yowane Haku are based off of Hatsune Miku; Kasane Teto is and UTAU; and BRS is a reproduction of Hatsune Miku in her song 'Black Rock Shooter'. They are up with the Vocaloid sprites because they are extremely popular and are spin-offs of Vocaloid, so I only thought it proper to post them with the other sprites.

Well here's the reason why:
the reason behind this is because I am a little bit in need of money, me and my husband need to save up for the car insurance which is close to Β£2000 annually (it is around August we usually have to pay for it)... we cannot sell the car because my husband needs it to drive 70 miles a day with it for work... including some unwanted costs which unfortunately has come up as well.
This car has had a maintenance this year (it happened around august 2018) which literally ripped out all the money out of our wallets... and to make sure we can cover it when something like this happens again!!

I don't really have a problem with that, but please make sure to credit me properly in your credits. I've seen my sprites used in many hacks, but others took the credit for the work.

I just figured out what you are talking about now. Her name is Aoki Lapis, not Melody. I guess someone took my sprites and put them in a hack game and gave them a random name. They did the same thing to Meiko, and named her Taylor instead. lol

I have no clue what you're talking about. The sprite I used to make Aoki Lapis is Cheryl's Sprite from the Pokemon Games: Diamond/Pearl/Platinum.

just a tip, NEVER put a transparent background on a sprite. When you try and look at the sprites after downloading the picture, the black outlines disappear. You might also wanna try mixing different parts from different sprites to make a new one, I can tell all the bases that you used in these ones. Apart from that, those sprites look really solid, good job.

I just tried downloading these, and opened them up in a regular picture gallery, and had no problem with the outlines. :\

Not sure what program you're using to get that problem with the sprites, but I have had no problem with Transparency.
And as far as the sprite work goes, yeah, I used the original bases from Diamond and Pearl/Black and White/Heart Gold and Soul Silver.
Besides, I don't really do these anymore. I made these like... 6, 7 years ago. XD

I use MS paint to make my sprites, these are pretty good sprites for their age

I use Photoshop. I used to use MS Paint a long time ago. The problem with the transparency is through MS Paint, not anything on my end.

For the first few years, I used MS Paint, but then I came across Photoshop, which has a "Pencil" Brush that is perfect for Pixel Art.
I was able to use Photoshop to be able to save images with a transparent background, where I could not do with MS Paint.

These all look great! However, as someone who also makes Pokemon sprites, I would like to point out out that some of the faces seem a little flat or a little squished. For example, Miki's face looks flat due to there not being enough shading. IA on the other hand looks a bit squished in. I can understand why though, as Roxanne is a rather small model. A little bit of up-scaling could help with that and give you more room to work.
Please note that, again, I think these all look great! These are just tips from one Spriter to another

Are you talking about Sakine Meiko? She's a fanmade Vocaloid that uses Meiko's voicebank with a higher pitch.

Yowane Haku and Akita Neru are also Higher Pitches of Hatsune Miku.
But unlike all the other fanmades out there, Sakine Meiko, Yowane Haku, and Akita Neru are officially recognized by Crypton Media, and you can find little Nendoroid figures of them. But they don't have their own official voice. :]
