Well, here is a pic from the Phoenix Cactus Comic Convention in Mesa. I wasn't going to upload this but as of yet, no one I know has a picture of me in my Ducktape outfit! So I guess you will have to settle for my OC, Lina Colwell.

Although this doesn't happen in the many stories I have in Aidel, I have a daydream or two where Lina finds herself in Coruscant, StarWars. While she's there Lina (being the meschievious Geldi that she is) bugs the hell out of Darth Sidious and constantly teases his apprentice, Darth Maul. The two Sith Lords just can't seem to kill, capture, or get rid of her. This daydream is pretty funny, but I'm not sure I'll ever write it down.

The 1st two days of the Con I was dressed up as Lina Colwell, mozying about, taking pics, and stayed indoors mostly (because I didn't want a sunburn.) I met up with a previous boyfriend of mine named Courtney, and we both found out that we still really liked each other. Lets just say we picked up where we left off. His kisses are so sweet.

On Friday I was travleing around with , Kristen , Grail who played Greed from FMA, and Adam who you guys know as Blakk in two pics I have in my gallery.

I can't help but think that the Con went too fast, I was either tying to do too much or too little. Oh well. On Saturday night from midnight till 6 a.m. Adam and I worked on my helmet. I didn't finish in completely until we got out of the car the next morning. From there we went inside and ducktaped the outfit to me. While this was going on one of the DSG (Dune Sea Garrison) Stormtroopers came over and played bodyguard for me saying "Move along, move along" to those passing by. He was pretty cool.

The rest of the day was hectic but short, I was able to be a late entry into the Masquerade Contest and did a skit with another DSG dude. He lent me his gun during the performance which was very nice of him. ^^ My trooper name was DNKY89 and I got Best in Novice Class award .

While the crowd and participants were waiting for the Prize results and group of Breakdancers took to the stage and had their music blasting. The DSG guy, myself, Reno, and a few other FF7 cosplayers who were standing by the wall all started to dance. It was great, even more fun than the skits we did. About half of the time we had the cameras on us while we on the sidelines.

After the Masquerade was over I had a few members of the DSG come up to me and asked if I was planning on joining the Legion. I said that it was a high possibility, I've been thinking about it for the past year since I first met them in PCC '07. Although I wouldn't be able to afford a good Trooper outfit for a few years because I'm a poor college student. They got a kick out of the fact that my entire costume was made out of Ducktape and that the kids they do charity work for would absolutely love it. They took some pics, said fairwells, and then my buddies and I headed home.

That last day of the Con was the best, just because of the dancing we did and the recognition from the DSG. Sorry for making you read all this, but I just had to rant. ^^
