Description So I reread Dark Knight Strikes Again, and while it is crazy as hell, I didn't hate it. It's great in it's own weird hyperbolistic way. And shame about ol' Franky Miller not approving of the Occupy Wall Street movement. DK2 seemed to smack of political unrest, as does all of his work. Maybe there's not enough ultraviolence for him to take them seriously? Who knows. Anyway, you know the drill: facebook page: [link] , Cheshire Cat Art homepage: [link]

Well crazy old Uncle Frank will always have a place in my heart even if he's... well... crazy. That's what "uncles" are for.
"TDKSA" was insane but in kind of a fun way. The creepiest and most unsettling thing was what happened to Dick Grayson.
Not only was he some sort of mutant thing now but also hinted at some weird pseudo homosexual obsession with his old boss,Batman. And Batman referred to his old partner as "plum" at one point. My goodness.

Great job here!

I love Frank Millers older work, but I think he's lost his touch. And possibly his mind, which seems to be a trend with great writers. Have you read anything about "Holy Terror?"

Anyway, I really enjoyed the first issue of DK2, but didn't care for the rest. This picture is awesome, though. It's always a treat when you do Batman.

You should do Carrie Kelly as Robin. O.O

I just went to Barnes and Nobles and read the whole thing (it's $30 and super short). Wow. It's either really poignant satire, or unquestionably the most jingoistic graphic novel I've ever read. The worst ignorant stereotypes you've ever seen probably wouldn't prepare you for Holy Terror's practically blatant racism. It's really really sad that this was made, much less by one of comicdom's greatest minds. The art's fatastic at points and self indulgent and incomprehensible at others. I dunno. For better or worse it might just be a must-read.

And per your request I just finished up a Carrie Kelly pic. I'm about four or five pictures back posting-wise, but I'll post it up after that. Fun suggestion!

Gratzi! But the writing cred's all on Frank Miller.

I dug Arkham City. The art direction was amazing, and the combat was pretty addictive. I can't wait for the next Arkham game.
