Description Just finished up reading the end of Trigun. Argh...the ending's pretty rough. I took up drawing because of Yasuhiro Naitow, so it was kind of disappointing that the whole ending was nothing but eleventh hour revelations, one after another after another. Oh well. The art's still KICKASS! So, here's a Trigun inspired pic. Enjoy! And rewatch the series. Brilliant.

Awesome job! It almost resembles a sort of album cover to me.

I'm sorry you didn't like the manga's ending. I loved it! Truthfully, I hope Trigun gets the FMA: Brotherhood treatment some day.

Yasuhiro Naightow's the reason I got into drawing. His mix of Mike Mignola's thick blacks with an Akira Toriyama-y 80s manga style is phenomenal. The story's great too, but the anime was much tighter than how the manga evolved.

I found your page via Furlong's art exchange thing. I'm thinking about getting in on that, if not only so I could show off some amazing art work. Your stuff's great, and that Wolvy Pic nailed the Sean Gordon Murphy aesthetic. I thought it was his, and you were just advertising for it! Awesome stuff man.

No problem. If you dig Nightow, have you ever checked out Terada Katsuya? Man's an art god. Great stuff.

Vash is a very interesting and uniqe character. You captured him amazingly well. ; )

Thanks! Vash is amazing. He's kind of the manifestation of a Western Superman-a character who fights and suffers for his ideals in a world that has long since abandoned them. Glad I captured Vash! I learned to draw from Trigun, but I always feel awkward drawing Vash these days. I guess I've incorporated too many other sources

what? you didn't like the end of Trigun manga? =< I liked it...I liked it a lot more than the anime Dx

Yeah...the anime is thematically super tight, and the manga just seemed to keep pulling characters out of nowhere. I had trouble empathizing with Livio, just because I hadn't spent so much time with him, and the humans coming back from space seemed really last second to me. I LOVE Yasuhiro Naitow's art-it's the reason I started drawing-but I had a huge degree of trouble matching up what was happening in the panels with what was happening in the story. Then Legato kinda' shows up last second...and that disco guy shows up last second to give Vash the last half of the coin, then that plot point wasn't even used...so, yeah, I'm a huge fan of the anime

really? O3o I've read it at least 2 1/2 times now, cuz...well the first time I read it I didn't fully understand all the details and such. but now taht I've reread it and payed attention to the details and such, I understand it a lot better now. =O >XD and lol that disco guy, that was Zazi the Beast. >XD lol and so was that girlish looking person who was cut in half by Legato. =O I pretty much understand how it all happened if you have any questions or if things might not be clear.
