So...I recently posted this deviation: cheshirecaterling.deviantart.c…And it got me thinking about an older OC design I did for my conjoined twins April and May: cheshirecaterling.deviantart.c…
Now...despite all my weirdness, I do try my best to keep everything i do within a certain logical median...meaning they would fucntion properly on a biological level. April and May always felt like I rushed the idea a bit and didn't really think things through. So here's my idea...make them attached at the hip, sharing a middle leg, having individual sensations on either right or left foot but having a share reaction on the middle...what you say good people? Yay or nay?

I like it and would love to see art (a single page comic perhaps) of April and May fighting over who owns the middle leg and May trying to yank it off April

Hmm that is indeed intresting , i woulden't mind seeing it and perhaps demonstrated art whise. Realisticly whise i would say this would be awfull. I think the hip and waist and probably the butt would be very strained this way , not to mention it might be painfull. Tough i think once born with it and raised a person can adapt to it perfectly as i've read stories about people with lesser limbs so it might work out after all.
Plus it would be fun to see the clothing styles merge.

Yay! I think the shared sensations would make for an interesting dynamic though I still like them sharing one torso as well like your previous design. I suppose the next question is what is the middle foot going to look like?

The method of their conjunction seems a lot more thought out now, that's for sure. There's a bit less of the "two-headed freak" vibe and a lot more play on the phrase "joined at the hip." At the same time, if you've introduced aliens and supernatural creatures in your canon it seems like it might just be easier to create a new lifeform to have two heads, two personalities, three legs/feet, etc. while also avoiding the squik factor some of us might feel when we wonder if this is a fetishized version of a serious birth defect.
