Description
So, this is a drawing of what Nyra might look like near the end of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, when the Hagsfiend in her is starting to show.*edit: Changed the file with an edited version. I forgot to fix the lighting and contrast to make it look nicer. Emjoy!*
This is an art trade with
Pencil, pen, and Crayola Colored pencils.
Tooks about 3 hours; watched the Guardians movie while I did it.
Im going to make soup now!

I think it's pretty hard to have a great, evil atmosphere with pencils. And with a scan, it is harder to keep great shade of original colors.
But yours is really a masterpiece !
I love how you drew Nyra, and how you show her Hagsfiend's face with the black feather. Moreover, your barn owl, evil queen is a huge twist between the Nyra from the movie, and the Nyra from the series.
You've done a very good job, I keen on your Ga'Hoole Fanart !

Perhaps. I can't remember all of the books, but I do know she was looking rather haggish at the end of the series in book 14 and 15.
And I haven't played the game, but I'd be displeased with that too. It'd be too confusing, as hagsfiends are supposed to be crow-owls.

I always envisioned her eyes growing more and more dark the more the natchmagen-hagsfiend took over o.o ...except, just a yellow glow coming from them XD If I saw that I'd totally go yeep lmao

Like more crow like? Yeah I could see that, but I wanted to show the more slight effects, with the blackened wing tips and the yellow eyes
But I also wanted her to still look owl-like haha. So you could recognize her without the title if you just saw the picture.
