Description
Orange Husky has a species that she made..the Scid.I fell in love as soon as I saw it.
Last night, while going through her gallery again, I thought "Ill try and make one..should be good practice with my new clay."
I was about half done..when I realised, I should probably ask her first.
Thankfully, she said I could.(thank you so much!)
I had picked my favorite pic as a refrence. [link]
And started at it.
It was my favorite, because hes a big boney..and all stitched up.
It didnt feel..right, something was missing..so I looked at other pictures..and decided to add some ears.
I like them.
The picture is crap..and Im sorry..
He has ribs, and 83 stitches.
Im not used to painting on this clay yet..so the colors are a tad off..but, then again, there are a few differences over all anyway.
Im very very happy with this guy.
Oh, and the pepsi can is for a size refrence.

Woah, this looks awesome! I love the stitches, paws and spindly legs - I don't know how I'd sculpt thin legs without the figure collapsing(I've tried armature wire, but it didn't work out for me).

I cant get foil to do much for me..
I cant bulk things out either.
So I have some things (like a bullie that I havnt posted) that are solid clay.
Hes super cute though.
He has this fat little body..

Ah, I see. You ought to post it sometime! I love bullies too.
I use Super Sculpey. It's very soft and easy to model with(though in the summer it can be a little too soft, causing pieces to lean over if they aren't well-supported). XP

OMG You are crazy talented, I LOVE that scid, and those paws are so cool!!! everything is right on with this scid, and the fact that you took the picture next too the pepsi can, priceless

the paws..I did each toe on its own, they were each two peices.
So, Im pretty happy with them also.

My fingures hurt so bad.I had a cut on my finger tip (the main one I use..for blending and such) from a few days ago..and that clay was ..tough.To say the least.

Ohhmanwhatacutie. I don't think it's possible for me to express just how much I adore this, can't help but smile when I look at it. And! You did such a great job bringing the character/species to life. Simply amazing (as is your other clay and art work, which I enjoyed going through). If its possible, and you're up to it- maybe someday I could commission you to scuplt Pulse. Ahhnow that'd be a cool addition to my room. Thanks so much for putting all that effort into putting together a Scid, you definitely did a wonderful job!

It was alot of fun..Im going to try and get up a better pic, so you can see the whole guy...I have more but, his face just wouldnt focus..at all.
