[Tricky (from DKR)]: Uh, kid, I have a feeling there's another subject who has my name.
[Diddy]: What?!

Very nice, I know people don't consider it canon but I like to think that the Tricky from the Star Fox series grew up to become the Tricky from Diddy Kong Racing, I think the actor who played Tricky's father in Star Fox Adventures is the same one who played Tricky in DKR, it sounds like him anyway

Haha yeah...two different dinosaurs, same name.
Guess it's a way of secret reference/recycling when making games from time to time. Oh Rare (w/Nintendo), I miss thee.

I heart this drawing. It is quite unique that you've managed to get two game worlds together yet they are part of a unified dimension known as RARE's creations

Ha. That's cute.
That's not the first time Rare did that either. They like to recycle ideas and characters.
For example, one of the earliest games rares programmers worked on was a game called "Sabre Wulf". Later on, when they made "Killer instinct", there was a character named Sabrewulf ... and in the original version of Dinosaur Planet (before StarFox was mixed into it), you played as a Wolf named Sabre, instead of Fox McCloud.
...oh, and they remade "Sabre Wulf" for the GBA a few years back as well.
Bet you didn't know that.

And to think some people believe they're the same person rather than a reused idea!

Yeah, I remember reading in Nintendo power how both dinosaurs were named Tricky, but since I didn't play the Star Fox game I had to take their word for it.
Awesome idea making it in two diffrent mediums, it works well for the picture.

Really funny, and brilliant how you colored it in two different ways.

Haha, that's awesome. XD The two Trickys, together at last.
Also, doing the two different games in two different mediums was a brilliant idea! Though they're both in your style, doing DKR in marker and SFA in colored pencils makes them look a lot more like their respective games, too.
Excellent stuffs! : D
