Is there a template for the modified one that you did?

No, sorry. All I did was copy/paste in extra boxes xD

Nice! The hand-drawn, not-copied Pokemon are great--as catz said, much better than a copy-paste--and the backgrounds are pretty cool, too.
I should try doing something like this... after I learn to draw. Or maybe I could call this practice.
I'd probably have to put in a "favorite for aesthetic reasons only" disclaimer; it's been a long time since I've played the games, so I can't remember who my "favorites" would be for strategy. (I think I typically just tried to level up my "aesthetic" favorites until they could muscle through most opponents, though )
But since I am learning to draw, nowhere near a master like yourself, I think maybe I'd want to start by implementing the copy-paste thing; not by just copying in the official images and calling it done, of course, but using the official game image as a "reference image" on one side, and my attempt to draw that Mon on the other to present a side-by-side comparison. Hmmm...
Then afterwards I might try making myself crazy by upping the challenge. Favorite type by game/generation or something, though I'd likely leave a few boxes blank if I tried that.
Also, half a year? Wow!
Funny how I can look at writing fiction and think that's practically no time at all, but tell me you worked that long on a drawing of any kind, and I'm impressed at how much patience anyone can have to stick with a project that long. Maybe I'm just weird....

Have you ever tried Pokemon Art Academy? That's where I decided to start (so far I've only done a few "lessons," and I may just use those as my reference images instead of official art--that way it'd still be my drawing instead of a copy/paste), but I definitely want to improve so I can draw the Pokemon in my own poses and such, instead of relying on a pre-made pattern.
Not to mention, I don't think PAA has all the Pokemon available in its lessons....

It's not a freebie if that's what you mean.
If you're asking how much, it of course depends on where you find it and whether you buy it used or new.
I bought mine on BestBuy.com for what I believe is the regular price of 29.99 (I saw a pre-owned copy on there for 24.99, but for a $5 difference and the sale I was getting on a strategy guide for another game, the new one was a slightly better deal at the time). Used up most of the money I had in PayPal, though, so now I have to wait until I sell some more things before making any more purchases.
Gamestop is another place I check regularly (I found Lessons for Everyone for $10 there now I'm just waiting for it to arrive), or you could try Amazon or eBay to see what sort of prices people are offering, or whatever used game shops happen to be in your area. Or, if you're open to the digital download, it's on the 3DS's eshop, but it's priced the same as a new cartridge at 29.99

I appreciate you so much right now because you actually drew the pokemon for this meme instead of copy + pasting images of pokemon from elsewhere online into the meme like most people do. 10/10

Yeah, art thieves and those people who just post images from other places online and claim it as art bother meΒ
