you are correct. 1993 was the first sth comic....i january. this rendering was my first that came out great......i didnt think about a 10 year anniversary til you said it......thats crazy that the timeline works out like that....

i picked up issue # 0 at a piggly wiggly Β i saw that it had the number 0 on it thought that was interesting being a collector looked in it saw a blond character named sally Β loved her ever since !Β

wow that was drawn really well, I've always had troube with her hair, because it's not all fuzzy but it's not completely smooth. You made her hair perfectly! So Jealous.

thankyou...ive been drawing sally since i was 9 years old...she was the first character i learned how to draw, then i moved on to sonic and the rest of the gang...thankyou for the compliment

wow since you were 9? I started getting interested with sonic when I was 9. My little brother actually started liking him first. He bought plushies and action figures of them, and we made videos with them. We still make videos today but now I'm more interested in drawing the characters, and posting my work to DA.

ive been here on DA for four years, but i didnt post any drawings of mine til August of last year...and there is still some that i wont put on DA just cause i want them to stay with me....ive been into STH since 1993 when SatAm was around....i miss that show but ive seen all the espisodes more than 100 times each lol

me too, I was a big fan of Mark Crilley (an anime artist) I used to watch his how to draw videos on youtube for two hours and make something cool. Now it's just draw something fast and get it done.

it was kinda a little phase i was going through at the time i guess....theres a girl i know that reminds me of sally, and it was something bout her and sally that brought that picture to life

Wow. For one of your first sketches, this is a really good way to start it off. I mean, I don't see much smudging on it like mine... though I don't post them on Deviantart... yet.

i did a rough draft first then free handed everything else.....so there wasnt very many mistakes, plus i was very light with the pencils when i was drawing this
The hardest part was trying to figure out the shading which i did like a year or so later after i drew it lol
