okay well Ven (the one that looks like roxas)
gets his heart split in 2. The light side remains in him while his dark side creates Vanitas (sora look a like)
So Vanitas is Ven's darkside.. I believe Vanitas looks like sora because Sora was meant to be the bad guy not riku [:

Nah, I think Vanitas mimicked Sora's face because Sora's heart helped fill in the void that Vanitas left when he was drawn out of Ven's heart.
