I love Noctowl, especially the shiny one since it was one of the main members of my first team (and I'd found two!) HootHoot was also the first shiny Pokemon I ever caught.

I'm trying to cut down on Pokemon drawings, they're just so easy (a lot of reference and such) and I hesitate to draw different things.

well there's nothing wrong with drawing something from references. There's not even something wrong with drawing pokemon. Perhaps what you need to do is draw some pokemon with a twist (like....dress them? make them punk for kicks? lmao ^^)
or you could even try making your own pokemon, either basic or evolutions of existing pokemon (like yet ANOTHER addition to evee)

Sounds like a plan xD I avoid OCs though (so many hours of sifting through ff.net's list... so... many...) but I do get the random idea here and there. It's process of getting from the idea to the actual sketch that takes time
Though the idea of tweaking with Eevee is enticing
I actually have two sketches I can upload once I get down to taking pictures of them.
