I did use a few references for anatomy, so thankfully it came out alright hahaha!
Thank you for the comments on the background, I'll definitely focus a bit more on how the background works with the primary focus of the painting itself in my future works.Β

I was going for a mixed emotional type of piece where colors where kind of bright and happy but the raccoon may not appear to be as such.

It's really great. Plus, Raccoon's are Rad. They have an opposable thumb, which in retrospect is kind of creepy.
