The only other girl i could have seen Naruto with is Ino.
Thats because they have the same outgoing personality. They both stand up for weaker people. (Naruto defending Hinata. Ino defending sakura.)
The only thing they probably needed was better interactions before shippuden and it could have happened.
Dont get me wrong I love that Naruhina is cannon, but some more naruto and ino interaction would have been nice.
