One of my very first Chinese dragons.I am SOOOO happy with how this turned out!
I drew and shaded every individual scale, and as impatient as I got with that, it payed off.
WOoT!!!
I just wish my scanner didn't murder all the detail. I swear it looks SO much better in person.

I am admirated by the precision and quality of the shading particulary into the dragon in wich it is properly ''merged'' to the scale texture. I think this is a very good drawing

Don't you mean Japanese dragon? It only has 3 toes. Not 5. Chinese dragons have 5 toes on each foot. Although, it may be Korean. There's a little stubby thing kind of similar to a toe on the foot facing toward the viewer. That may just be an indication that you don't know much about Oriental dragons, however... Although, don't feel bad. It seems almost all of the "Chinese dragons" on here are really Korean-Japanese hybrids, with 4 toes on the front feet and 3 on the back feet.

Well, I wasn't really going for accuracy, I was just trying to draw a chinese-style dragon. But you're right, I didn't give him the proper amount of toes for a chinese dragon. I guess he's just a combination of Korean, Japanese, and chinese.
