Here's my entry for the supervillain contest hosted by mizo-dA.

In a time when man first appeared in this world, War broke between the kingdoms of Heaven and Hell. An archangel named Ramiel commanded the forces of Heaven against the dark spawns of fire, but when Heaven claimed victory, Revelation was pronounced guilty of massacre. Indeed, Revelation was responsible for the death of ten thousand humans who stood in his way...he never pleaded innocent. Thus he was banished to the deepest abyss of Gehena where he was tortured endlessly for two thousand years.

At the close of his sentence though he did not wish to leave. Instead he vowed to spend the remainder of his life as a reaper of souls...torturing souls was his duty. In the time of the Apocalypse, Lucifer decided to hold him Lord over the rapture and so, Ramiel the Reaper emerged from the bowels of the earth to command the minions of Hell and take back what was rightfully his...or something...

(just made that up as I went) hmmmm...

Why the gasmask you might ask. My answer is..cos' it looks friggin' badass that's why XD oh..and all those dead bodies gotta be a sour sight for the nose...or something...
