Description
This picture, is the back cover to Fatal Ending, it was produced in the same way with the same style as the frint cover.It is supposed to show the now decaying specture of Ariel, bound to The Pillars for millenia. I wanted to show the decay of even Kain`s once great throne room, with the added lament on Ariel`s face to show that nothing could be done to save Nosgoth.
Now I look at it and see the errors in the perspective, but it`s a learning experience, and I don`t usually draw with such kinds of perspectives so it was a good challange!

I like the composition and perspective a lot in this piece, there are some really nice detail in the structures. I also like the soft color, nothing bright, all sorts of greys and pale brown/yellow.

Still one of your best drawings ever, in terms of perspective, foreshortening and colour. I still don't get how you managed to get the colours and shadows so damn perfect, and the patterns on the throne are just amazing in their detail. One of my faves of your pics, ever, and I mean it.
