Alice- 28 “He can be Alice if he wants, it’s no longer my concern.” The girl who originally went to Wonderland 18 years ago when she was only ten. Since then she has never forgotten it and loves reliving it through stories she tells her brother. She misses it desperately. When she moves from her parents’ home at 25, the white rabbit appears in her living room. Desperate for one more time of seeing everyone again, she follows him. Once in wonderland the rabbit tells her the Queen is ill and wishes to see her, the girl who showed her humanity and humility. She sees the queen and nurses her back to health, the two women falling in love in that time.
Queen of hearts- 27 “That new Alice is nowhere near as beautiful as the original.” She falls ill and sends for Alice, who readily returns and nurses her to health. The two women fall in love, now of similar age, and begin to make changes to the world that Alice and her brother once imagined. They turns all of the creatures Alice met in her previous visit into a blend of both animal and human, creating a panic. The women go overboard, creating random ideas that children came up with, causing chaos in Wonderland.
