Finished the texturing easy enough. All of it painted from scratch in Photoshop. All in all, I'm really proud of how the model came out, especially for being under 3500 polygons.

WOW! This is astounding! The colors, texture, and form you gave to Lucario is just amazing! This is so impressive. How long did this take you?

The modeling took around 40 hours. The texturing I'm not sure, because I spent a few weeks working on it on and off for a few minutes at a time while eating and watching tv and the like.

I made it entirely in 3Ds Max. The turntable was done in flash, though. I rendered out a clip of a camera rotating around him in 3Ds max, and then imported it into Flash. Then I used a bit of code that I found here: [link]

Well, sorry to say, but he's not fully rigged yet. That's what my class should be starting after spring break. Once he's rigged, I'll think about whether I want to let people use it or not.

This is some truly incredible work. I've always loved how true to the original designs you make your pokemon art, and this is no exception. This will be incredibly valuable to me in getting a better understanding of Lucario's anatomy for future works.

Heh, I spent so much time excessively drawing Lucario in high school that his anatomy comes naturally now, so I'm glad that it will end up helping out.
