Ok so for starters I'd like to state I don't know how to fish past animal crossing. Secondly this is for and I AM SO SORRY HOW LATE THIS IS /sooob. At first it was school in the way then the holidays and finally my own procrastination. I actually can't believe how much time this took, and the layers! sooo many layers...
Β The background I was kinda going for just cartoony like animal crossing because that'd be a great place for Link to show Marth how to fish since well its actually a stage that's in smash bros. Though I do have to admit I rushed the background just for the sake of finally getting this done. I hope this this is what you were asking for when you said "Link trying to teach Marth how to fish" because that was the first thing that popped in my head.
The drawing's were done in Colors!3d on the Nintendo 3ds and it was then moved to photoshop for outlines and color. (It's been forever since I did something in photoshop huh?)

woo! I was going for cute so that's good! The ending was actually changed from it's original drawing. There wasn't much difference but they were further apart and different pose...but I'm glad I changed it because this one proved to be the more easily drawn and cuter.

No, don't draw them apart..draw them close, show their care..never draw..apart..being apart is a sad thing regardless of content..It's not fair to be apart..never fair.
