i'm really impressed with the ballpoint technique, especially the background -since i like abstract elements...but also because it is so nicely blended.
hope you will take the time to make some more of these!

That's a very interesting technique uses, thank you for the link.
At the moment I use Steadtler, although I'm not sure if I would recommend them or not, it was just the only pack of coloured ballpoints I could find in the stores.
I have a pack of 10 pens: black, brown, dark green, light green, light blue, dark blue, purple, pink, red and orange.
They where actually pretty hard to find, almost all the coloured pens are gel-pens these days, and they are not very suited to colour with, they are to wed, so you can't go from light to dark by using different amounts of pressure.

Wow, that must have been a lot of work...
In the image you linked, it's not even really visible that it's with ballpoints!

Aww thanks for the compliment
( Thanks, I fixed the link )
Last Wednesday, well it pretty much was what I was working on after the Mondrian class, although you're right it doesn't have much to do with Mondrian, it must have been my fever that made me put it on the table.
I actually didn't give an explanation for it, I only told about Louise B. , van Gogh and Picasso.
Although now my head is working properly again, I could make up a whole explanation why this drawing would make sense on the Mondrian table, since it's kinda psychedelic, and psychedelic means exploring the human mind and psyche and the beauty of it, while Mondrian was also trying to capture the essence of things, although he was especially in his later works more specified in the beauty of nature, while psychedelica is more about the mind.
( There we go, one completely made up, no sense making, yet slightly interesting sounding explanation. If I had launched it at school we could have gotten one hell of discussion about it )
