This is the one thing I don't get about Roger and him holding on to his humanity. He knows that he is the host of a monster that literally eats people's head. As I look through the comments on this page, I see the comments feeling sorry for him.
I disagree entirely with everyone feeling bad for him. I love Roger as much as the next person, but the lady is right. I don't care if Roger is a puppet, or he is being used as a host. He made that choice and swore to stick to it, and that also meant losing his humanity in the long run.
Being a demon myself, I know how keeping humanity when you're not actually human is extremely difficult to handle because of the constant effort it take to hold something like hellbent rage, or a shadow walker in Roger's case, inside without it leaking out. And we've seen what happens to Roger when that monster is hungry.
So kutos to you, Roger, for keeping your humanity as long as you have. But don't you flailing it around like it's some trophy to be praised. They killing people, and you do too. So quit acting like you are a normal person, and there are too; let reality sink in fast, bub. You're going to lose that humanity very quickly like that.

Well, Roger isn't flailing around flaunting about it for one. And yes, he did go along with it, (and I'm sorry as I don't know much about this (so I guess I shouldn't really say anything but.....meh?)), but that doesn't mean he has to go animalistic. There's the Slenderman and the rest of the group for example. They don't fight as much, and yeah, their more 'civil' mostly because it's not being as realistic but that would kind apply to the others. Also, just because he did go along with it doesn't mean he has to accept it. Another point is that Roger was still a human in the beginning so he can't just lose it in a snap. However, I do understand where your coming from. (Sorry, I just like to look at things from all points of view. Not trying to start a fight. Just wanted to point things out...Oh and sorry about any grammatical mistakes I made)
