i came home and she was sad. i asked her what was wrong and she told me she was scared i would be mad cause she crashed the computer. i saw a paper. i think she was supposed to throw it away. i opened it....
she wanted to thank me cause i take good care of her.

the program we are working with the most right now is Microsoft Office Access
Excel, Word and PowerPoint are important for me as well
i have been thinking of running Linux on this computer, but since the 'family' computer is unusable, this is the only thing, besides a very crappy netbook, i have and i don"t think my dad will be happy if i put Linux on it. when my dad gets a new computer, this one is going back to my room and i will probably try Lunux (probably Ubuntu since that's the one i will need next year)

Actually, if you are going to switch over to linux, I would have to strongly suggest you acclimate yourself with some open source Windows Apps. I went cold turkey into Linux with Fedora Core 6 (long time ago) and had nothing but problems.
Why would he care what OS is on it? Does he play games on it?
