Description
Hidden in the depths of my mindlies the demon I fear and detest,
It arises from the depths of ruin
and strikes out to those I love,
Each action haunts and injures me
as I am unaware; yet aware
of what my demon is becoming.
The depression that bonded my mind
is beckoning the demon more and more;
More to arise and hurt those I love
through hateful words and actions
that I can't control;
Yet, weep at the consequences.
This demon I am becoming is nothing more
or less than myself;
I can't seem to get a hold of myself
and all of its' emotional contents
as I slide in and out of my mind
through my depression.
