Description Silence makes the spirit grow weak
As the pendalium falls side to side,
Elongated stares and snickers are havoric
To the every foundation,
Shattering as the day flows.

Walking up to a mirror, my hand slides
To the very imperfection others snicker,
Am I truly beautiful in your eyes?
No answer is heard, only silence and voices  of doubt,
I turn around and gaze at the world,
The one I reside and work in:
Where is the beauty that others describe?
Is it an abstract idea or superficial idealogy
Only makeup and technology can hide?
Is the very essence of imperfection detested?

My answers are only read by others,
Other's eyes on perfection and idealogy
Of human beauty and persona,
If appearances are so prized, why is it shortlived?
Why chase a short-term concept, instead of a long-term?
Is this the society that we are built on
Superficial ideas of human beauty
Underneath layers of makeup, surgeries, and more?

Is my imperfections really one or it your idealogy that is flawed?
Flawed to see that other's beauty are more than yours
And doesn't need to be flattered constantly to be baffled,
If I knew who I am, and what I'm worth,
Why does your words shatter the reflection I have inside?
