The other Secret Santa I had in the wings*Dreamerzina said in her survey she was a big Basil of Baker Street fan. So I came up with a post-film situation. I guess Olivia's papa rebuilt the dancing doll and gave it a dancing prince, it seems to react to music too ; )
Admittedly I used a lot of reference sketches I made from the film and such, so I guess I "cheated" a little. But the concept is original and I tried to make something original with some spirit from the film intact.

I've written a GMD fic on Fanfiction.net called Christmas at Baker Street. Basil is too busy to celebrate Christmas. So, in order for Dawson, Olivia, and Fidget to get him to do so is by telling him what Christmas is all about.

Aww, this is so cute! A wonderful idea and I love that you gave the ballerina Princess a Prince to dance with--he came out quite charming XD. And Basil giving them a beautiful violin serenade to dance to just adds so much more! Great drawing--instant fav.!
