Well, here's my first official request piece! ^.^asked me to draw Amber. has a pretty long-running comic about her, so be sure to check that out
All-in-all, I think it turned out pretty good (my craptacular grassy background aside.) I had a lot of trouble getting the building right, until I started playing with Google Sketch, which has become my new crutch ^.^ I can put in whatever buildings/room/architecture that I would need for perspective... Change the style to something resembling lineart, print it off, ink it, scan it in, and I've got instant background (well, not really instant, it took a couple of hours actually XD But it looks good!)
Anyhow, I hope you like it Mr. Edge ^.^ I'm sorry it took so long!
Edit: The character Amber belongs to Amber, because she's a real person, and Chibi's a dumb-biscuit ^.^

In this case, I cheated with the building. ^_^ I used Google Sketchup (a free 3d architectural program) to toss together a building with windows like this, and then adjusted the angle until it matched that of Amber here.

And Google Sketch is just like a very simple and user-friendly 3d CAD program. It's great for making rooms and cityscapes, and it has style modes which I can use to take away the shading and just give me the edges, so then I can print it out and pen it all in

You made another common error. The character "Amber" belongs to not Mr. Edge, Nor Sketch, but Amber herself. She's a real person.

Aww cute. What program do you use to color? Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator?

Um, neither ^.^ I use Jasc Paintshop Pro v. 9. I tried Photoshop and Illustrator, but got very frustrated with them. Paintshop can do anything that Photoshop would do (raster layers) and anything that illustrator would do (vector layers) and do it all in the same program, with a friendlier interface. The only thing that I'll admit that Photoshop has over Paintshop is that Photoshop does have a few more filters I think. But Paintshop is a lot cheaper, so I'm happy ^.^

Yep, sketchup's actually kind of saving my butt! I've got another picture I'll upload (it's the first of a growth-series I'm going to put up when I'm done with it) but I was able to do the entire room in sketchup, and for once, I feel pretty satisfied with my background ^.^
I'm going to have to checkout those stock models too, those could come in handy
