So I have a lot of pictures I'm working on right now... And strangely they all had to take a backseat to pony art. Sometimes, it's just unavoidable.Anyhow! Takai has the same affinity for bigness in pony form that she does in human form, and sometimes it's a little hard for me to keep up. If I were a unicorn, I could teleport or levitate... If I were a pegasus, I could fly...
I'm an earth pony. I cling.
Of course, she could levitate me along with her... But I'm guessing that takes some of the fun out of the situation, doesn't it.
Side note: Expect that the next time you see her, she'll have a shorter neck. Takai expressed a concern that she looks a bit giraffeish. (Which is a totally valid concern, now that I look at it) XD

Takai's a little defensive about folks posting writing with our characters, since we've had a couple of bad experiences where some people we weren't very close to wrote some really out of character and massively inappropriate stuff about us.
I mean, I really like your idea, I just don't want to make her uncomfortable, and since this is about the only thing she's asked me to request people not do, I would be a jerk if I didn't say it. I'm sorry, I hope you understand.

This is actually still LayerPaint... I haven't given Sketchbook much of a chance still, I have too hard of a time adjusting to the UI. I did have some moderate success with the airbrush here, though. ^_^

You know if you combine the many worlds theory with some form of reincarnation then there's a some chance some lifetime you'd actually be reborn into a ponyville-esqe world of peace ,wonder and magic.

Well, typically she's only about twice the height of your average pony, so accommodations aren't impossible. They aren't simple though, either. ^_^

yeah Takai if right with the neck...but to be honest i think the legs are way to long too...i think everyting just looks out of proportion (sorry, i hate giving negitive comments, but its just bugging me so much >.<)

Thank you for your opinion. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, I think the lankiness is kind of cute though (although I will concede that Takai was right, her neck looks fairly outrageous here). It makes her unique, and even though I know her proportions are different from that of the ponies in the show, it just seems to fit. ^_^

I didn't really notice the long neck while I was drawing it, I guess it just seemed to fit in my mind since she has such a long figure... Looking at it now I can see how it would seem out of place.

How'd you tow decide your races (unicorn/earth/etc)? Just out of personal preference?

Well, I decided mine mostly based on preference. I feel like an earth pony. If I were in a house from Harry Potter, I would be in Hufflepuff (I took a facebook test, it must be true!)
I admire how inventive and steadfast earth ponies are. Their lack of natural gifts has awarded them a different boon- determination. ^_^
As far as Takai, well, I poo-pooed her idea of being an alicorn, although now apparently ANYONE CAN BE ALICORNS LALALALA
