It was a lazy spring day.
She had a rare day off from work, so she decided to spend it enjoying nature.
That's when she spotted it.
A nest neatly arranged on the ground, holding a palm sized spotted egg.
She walked up to it cautiously wondering where the mother was.
She didn't want to get attacked for getting too close.
She held her breath as she got closer, looking in all directions, expecting to see a Dekico mother angrily barreling towards her.
But none came.
As soon as she decided it was safe, she picked up the egg, cradling it to her chest like a newborn babe.

"Do you want to come with me?"
