Have you noticed that Erion's good will and kind nature never gets rewarded at all? If anything- He gets punished for that: He is being abandoned and mocked and mistreated, that's not fair! He doesn't deserve that treatment!
What kind of sick fuck would treat its own characters like that?
(2nd panel)- Yeah! Shut up! D'you wanna get sued by Pokemon?
Also: FOUL! I call foul on this: Everyone knows hyper-beam is a NORMAL type move and Erion's clearly a flying type.
Oh, wait, I'm sorry: It's not "Hyper Beam" it's "HAIP-Air Beam". Ahhahahaha. -_-
(6th panel)- I know this is a big tear-drop for him and all but... All I can think of (aside from how creepy he looks in this panel) is my teacher for illustration class yelling at me:"You can't put a yellow character in front of a yellow background!" XD
(7th panel)- Inconsiderate bitch! Look at that: She's just waiting for him to finish his explanation and soak in his enlightenment about the power of love and friendship so she could properly make fun of him!
(8th panel)- I know it's a "little" transparent as a criticism about "the power of love conquers all" but... I'm sorry- I really hate it when a series resorts to that: They couldn't find a better way to get their characters out of danger so they use the power of "love" or something like that and that's how they win? it's such bullshit!
So of course that's NOT how Erion uses his powers.
(9th panel)- You hear that, Erion: Grow up and stop being such a romanticist naive dumb-ass and get outta this fakey fairy tale crap you live in and face reality!
Actually... Don't. You'll probably won't be as charming if you do so.
Oh! Good! Miss "know it all about elelmentals" will fill us in with a GOOD explanation as to why Erion's powers worked ONLY when the plot needed it!

It's a good movie, so when you get the chance watch it. Part 2 is a rehash of the first one, and everyone hates part 3, but I think it's really good. Part 3 is for the most part a western as in the old gunslinger American west. That's why a lot of people hate part 3, but I'm a sucker for westerns so I don't have a problem with it.
A little fun fact for you. When you do watch part 1, look for the scene where Marty and his band are trying out. The judge that stops Marty's audition is Huey Lewis himself.

See, unlike Pokenom and Digimon- I'm not gonna give names to their "moves". That way we won't have to hear Erion yelling: "Haip-air beam!" before he uses it. 'Cause that's just silly.
Maybe she just thought it was really cute how he believes that that's actually how it works.
