Yeah, the only problem is when duplicating and
printing them the colors look HORRENDOUS! So I can't really
sell it to the mass.
I never got into the "print" world. It always fucks up my drawings -_-

Id' laugh my ass off if someone like the Rainforest Cafe used placemats like this. Especially the carnivore one, I'd love to see some little kid just freak out at the brutality.

Well, they have to learn sooner or later where their meat
comes from. Might as well do it in a colorful watercolor drawing of cute
animals tearing the shit out of each other.

True, although I think that might create more vegetarians. Kinda like how Lisa became a vegetarian on the Simpsons.

I could see what you did with the vegetarian/meat eaters thing, but to me, it also projects heaven/hell to a certain degree.

Yeah, the funny thing about this project was that
at some point everyone including the teacher kinda forgot
what the concept of the task was so instead of drawing
a day and night placemats for a restaurant everyone kinda just
draw 2 random things that have something to do with day and night
(like that one guy from my class who drew children having a water-fight in a pool
during the day and having a pillow fight at night. What the fuck does it have to do with a restaurant?!)
Even I at some point figured out that I basically drew vegetarian animals at day and carnivorous animals
at night and I was like "Oh, right, they're supposed to be placemats for a restaurant" and added that frame really
quickly to make it look like something you can put your plates on.
Right from the start this task made no sense: Draw two drawings, as best as you can, that are meant
to be hidden behind the plates you'll put on them.
If you've ever seen a restaurant placemat in your life you'd know that it's mostly just a blank page with a decorative
frame or a page with a bunch of text to read while you're waiting for your food.
THEY DON'T HAVE WATERCOLORS DRAWINGS ON THEM!
So pretty much anyone can interpret it however he/she wants.
