Click here for the speed draw: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVh9gk…So for all the people who think Duke and Voltaire are the same person- they're not: THIS is Voltaire, he has a full beard on and normal not red eyes (although he still looks more like a vampire than Duke, but that's beside the point XP). This drawing is going to appear as a prop in the third chapter. So yes: in a way Voltaire will make a "cameo" in the third clip XD
In hindsight I probably should have drawn him more cartoony to fit into their world, but it's too late now...

So in the reason that Duke has the key because Voltaire has one irl, or did you design the key for The Night and then give it to AV club in this illustration?

I recognized the portrait immediately in "Resurrection", and I knew that despite using Voltaire voice clips for his "voice actor", Duke and this guy were totally not the same person. Hmm... that key around his neck looks familiar. Probably where Duke got it from most likely.

I only work on like 3-4 minutes of animation: they have hours in theirs.
Besides they also have to write and compose and all that. Animating clips is way easier.

Love this man so much, you do justice to him with your animations and I love your animations so much, the way Duke moves, so festive, cheekily evil vampire guy he is, and Voltaire's voice suits him flawlessly, he is specially charming in Land of the Dead, love it to pieces. And the music makes it all perfect.

So THIS is the portrait that was in the picture of Duke "greeting" the Disney villains. I actually met Voltaire once. He told me a rather dirty joke about my name being the same as his (then) wife's.
