I can handle: Mary-sues, MS Paint pictures, and OC x Canon. But I can't handle: those obnoxious shipping wars and the homophobic assholes that act like Nazis towards the fandom and make art to attack individuals as well as insulting every single person that simply likes slash.
Only thing I like about the show now is Flippy and Flaky's relationship, but even then I feel guilty because of the obnoxious fans

Even though I still like HTF, I have to say this fandom has many problems.
The problems of the DA HTF fandom:
- Art theft, tracing and recoloring
- The unoriginality of the HTF-sues such as the Flippy-sues and the
- Lack of gore
- The conflicts between the fan-pairing supporters
- Base abuse
- The unsuccessful trolls
- People are drawing official HTF fanart less than they used to
BTW I never used MS Paint to draw any HTF drawings.

I love the show, but all the perfect OC's flying around is just sickening. Since when was HTF more about love, rather than the gore and thrill? It's annoying to see people making a character looking like Flippy, wearing a jacket, wearing the tag, hat, you know the deal, but having eyelashes and a little hair.
And they call it their own character? I don't think so. You just made a copy of a real one and added some minor details. :I

Your right ours is worse, we have everything you are listing. The worse part for Bleach would be the IchiHime vs IchiRuki or for Naruto NaruHina vs NaruSaku. You should just read the bashing they do on each other, makes me shake my head.
Especially since those shows have been out longer, and are more popular than Happy Tree Friends. The fandom is much worse, but if I like a show no fandom would turn me away from it. So it never bothers me.

I LOVE Happy Tree Friends, but I agree with the OC thing. Everywhere I look I see OCxFippy art. Enough is Enough, if you want to make one of your other OC's (or yourself) in HTF style fine, but don't make an OC for the show just to end up with one of the characters. If you want to pair two characters in the show fine but he show is about gore a guts, so don't make a OC and do nothing but romantic lovey-dovey art with it.
And every popular show has crappy MS paint fanart, (plus bases and color overs) and there's not much that can be done about that.
