How do you come up with the ideas for the images you are going to use on your posters? Does the band give you an idea or do you just come up with something random? Do they use the first design you make? Sorry about the questions. I do this sort of thing to, but just for my friends.
That dodo is a lovely design. I want an owl tattoo but can't draw an owl to save my life haha.

I usually just come up with the idea first, and then tell one of my friends in a band that I have a poster waiting for me to put their name on it. They don't pay me (usually), and they understand that it's mostly a way for me to add to my portfolio or get some of my own ideas out, so they almost always let me do exactly what I want

Very nice! The dodo is great, I love all the pattern and those circles of dots. The colors are contrasting enough to catch your attention but not so loud and in your face. Your typography/general design sense is really fantastic.
