Description
In preparation in seeing Godzilla 2014, I spent the last three years collecting and watching as many Godzilla films as I could get my grimy little hands on. This is a sketch from a scene from "Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla II". If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend giving it a watch.I might redo this on canvas, make it look better. For now, I'm kind of happy with it.
Godzilla and Rodan/Radon belong to Toho, art done by me using SAI.

This was a very touching moment in the movie. I remember getting chills from hearing Rodan's theme for the first time in the film because I knew it had been decades since his last big screen appearance. And after watching this scene and hearing the reprisal of his theme filled me with tears. Akira Ifukube really knew how to strike a chord.

Rodan's theme is probably one of my favorite in the series, which is fitting because he's also one of my favorites as well. I may have teared up a little during this scene when I watched it the first time... okay, I totally did. Still gets me...
