Description
Again, I blame ~Oniwanbashu .Spinout (Shina Onoe as a human) is a rather interesting character. When her normal Autobot self, she's actually an Italian car... a jet black 2003 Ferrari Enzo, to be precise. However, as she's basically the Cybertronian equivalent of a martial artist (Spins is an unarmed combat specialist), she ended up a petite little Japanese woman as a human.
Decided to forgo armor on her. Her bodysuit is a heavy, specially treated and reinforced Kevlar weave that's resistant to laser fire and keeps her at least somewhat protected on the field. Other than that, as all of her fighting is done at close-range and typically unarmed, she avoids anything cumbersome.
Those of you who know Spinout from roleplay should recognize her as the one who is constantly pining after Ultra Magnus, despite showing a perfectly clear and professional air towards him as a public face. She always calls him "sir" or "commander," and "Commander Magnus" to anyone asking about him. Amusingly, this is what started up the rumor that she had the hots for him.
Spins is mine. Transformers is not.

As it wasn't used for his name, I really didn't make it a point to bother. His name is Sunstreaker, not Spinout, so... I really don't see any sort of problem.

It's interesting trivia, sure... but it's tough to tell how it was intended when it's on a picture I did of a character I named Spinout.

Same name... If you had named her Lamboru I would have said that was Sideswipes' Japanese name, if you named her Bob I would have said wow a femme named Bob, that's weird.

And I like her as a tiny Japanese woman. Completely appropriate for her - especially when the bigger guys needle her a bit too much, and then she teaches them a lesson by introducing them to the heel of her shoe.

Shina Onoe is a wonderful name for her.
Gotta agree with the forgoing of armour; You can't really deal ass-kicking martial arts when wearing something that cumbersome, yep. The kevlar is a good idea; I should adopt it for Haile Donovan (Hound) as well, since he hardly goes about with armour all the same (Though this would be like having a big red target on his butt, it is. Poor Hound. =<

And yes, she does often complain about having an alt that is much, much too noticeable. She likes to be all sneaky, but lord knows you can't do that when you're a Ferrari. XD
I stole the Kevlar from Birds of Prey myself. XD I always thought it was an interesting concept. You are free to gank it if you like.
