Guess who. I am sure you can figure it out ^_-Finally I finished my Yami Yugi wig. I totally adore him. You can tell from the fact that I actually did this wig! I mean he has like the most stupid hair in all anime history. But somehow I like how it turned out.
I changed the bangs a little since I am not able to do them THAT spiky AND I don't like it that spiky. Actually that wig made me go crazy and I am very happy it's finally finished.
Eyes are photoshop due to lack of contact. I lost mine T.T

Aaaah so cute~ I bought myself a bunch of cards together with a duel disk.. I bought it for cosplay uses, though. It never wasn't really popular where I live, so there wasn't anyone I could have played with. I got one of the games for PS2 anyways XD

Well, I got a black base wig since most of his hair is black. I parted the spikes and added black wefts so the netting won't show anymore. After that was finished I added pink hair to the front where I needed it to be. I only used pink for the 5 main spikes ^^'' The next thing was the blond streaks and later I added the front of the blond wig I used for the streaks to the front of the black wig to give it a nicer front. Once everything was finished I started with the styling itself.

Okay, I don't know what you did, to get that, but well, it's not THAT difficult to get the hair up right.
First of all, I always use strong hairspray. No gel, no glue, just hairspray. You should start by parting the wig into the spikes you wanna have in the end. Once you did that, just hold the hair up were you want the spike to end later, spray the spike and dry it using a hair-dryer on low level. Be careful to not melt the wig. Once the hairspray dried, the spike will stay up. You only have to shorten it to the point were you want it to end and make the top stick together by using some more hairspray + blow-dryer.
I hope that gives you a general idea on how to do spikes ^^''

Really good job indeed! I know when I cosplayed as Yami I used my real hair, talk about stiff! Never really thought about doing a half wig!

She actually does cosplay with me for the Yaoi con in San Fran! It is quite fun actually! I think the worst part is you tape your brest so you can actually try to pass as a guy! Sports bras just don't cut it!
