I did this in the car while on my College trip, which I must say was fun!This is apart of a three part trade with , one of my new, fast going friends who happens to like the same Star Fox pairings and characters I do! And, we have the same opinions about SF and other things, which is nice. We're very similar, and it's good to have friends who match your personality relatively good.
So, this is Lucy Hare, daughter of Peppy Hare. She used to be a tomboy, yes I know, but since she's older, I thought something like this would suit her. I guess she's going out on a date with someone~(And if it was me saying who she would go out with, it would be... ((a guy.)) you fill in the blank! It's not Fox or some random dude, someone from Star Fox...tee hee~) I like the plaid dress, the plaid was hard to do, but I think I pulled it off well. Sorry if she's too purple, but she does have purple shading in her fur and for this particular drawing, I decided to go with it. It worked, so HA HAHAHA! >3
This was all traditional media BTW. Bristol 9 in x12 in, mechanical pencil, Micron inking pen, and Prismacolor pencils. OLD OLD Prismacolors. Back when they had Decos! I miss my decos!

I think this is pretty good, your own style is nice and this drawing at the same time stays true to the official Nintendo design for her. Lucy needs more recognition, so I'm very glad to see a drawing as good as this one.
You probably didn't intend this, but now I'm imagining her climbing into the Sky Bunny and blowing up half the Anglar army with that outfit on.

Aww, thanks! Lucy does need recognition because she's a rare character that has a wonderful personality and capabilities. I'm probably going to draw ehr more in the future when I get the time to do so.

You know, that thought had occurred to me, too, a good while back. Although, I think she had someone else in mind...you'll find out when I honor my part of the trade...not that you couldn't guess, there's only so many options

Since you haven't played the game, I wasn't really expecting you to ovethink it like I always do 
I have seem people who pretty much dismiss the new characters, like "OMG Peppy had a daughter!? Bring back the characters from the decade-old cancelled game!", which is a shame because their problem is merely aesthetic. Lucy is really a refreshing character because she shows there's more to Peppy, and that not everyone in the games' universe is either a mercenary or a solider.

Yes! Fight the power of being a professor! Shows that Lucy is too smart for everyone. Makes me wonder if Fox might be a professor some day too since he's a scholar.
I was in a spring mood. I wish I had that outfit myself! I love to design clothes and then wish I had them. Very sad, I know.

Heheh, could be. Maybe that's why, in Command, Krystal came around when Lucy was involved. As for Fox, he's not a scholar...not as far as I know. He has military training, I think, and could be considered a tactician...but not a scholar.

It stated that he was considered scholarly from his training and stuff at the academy before he dropped out and re-started Star Fox. I got that from numerous places so I assume it's true.
Frilly things get to me. But I'm too tall for that. I'm 5'7", so it doesn't help if I wear something like that. I would have to be shorter. xD

Yeah, but I think it was assumed to be a military academy...of course, I could be wrong...not a lot of solid info on the characters. A lot of time one can only go by speculation

Not so much. It's got advantages, but I can't wear the cutesy stuff I draw without looking weird. But that's my opinion.

Oh, who is this mystery date, I wonder? Can't be Fox, of course--he, Falco and Slippy are taken (not that she'd want to date those last two, anyway...), Lylat System isn't exactly full of eligible bachelors...Perhaps it's someone she'd have to see behind her daddy's back? Heheh, I'm having too much fun with this
Anyway, let me say that that's a very appropriate title! Lucy is certainly a lovely character, and the fact that she gets so little attention is a downright crime!
She did come off as rather girly in the game, so your outfit for her works. I would imagine after her mother died, she subconsciouslly assumed that role...but that's just a guess. I think you did very well making that plaid pattern, and overall I love the colors you chose for her. The ribbons, too, I just adore. Compliments her personality, I think.

Lucy is a loveable character. I don't see why people do not draw her, unless they're the "OMGwhyistheremorecharactersbeingaddedafterSF64?!?!" people. I understand that it's a tad bit upsetting, but the characters aren't BAD, they're actually good. And Lucy can survive on her own without love. Who wouldn't love a character like her?
Yeah, I would agree and I didn't think of it when I did that outfit. I just wanted to design more outfits again!
