Here are 18 designs for cellphone straps. I'm pretty much only going to put up this one picture of the shrinky dink kind unless I think of some really cute other ones to do. So here's an example of a few of the ones for sale at conventions. Some are my own designs (like the strawberry), some are words/phrases (I have some "I <3" things too), some are recognizable objects from various series (like the Uchiha clan symbol), and some are just recognizable characters (like Al~).Related content

Wow, these are so cool! I've been thinking of doing some shrinky-dinks like this too, but I was wondering how you color them...Do you use colored pencil after you bake them? I thought you would just do it before, but then I got out the paper and I realized it's too slippery for that. Anyway, you did a great job on these <3

awesome idea. i just bought some shrinky dink plastic and i was wondering what you used to color these, esp the white since my white colored pencils are dumb and don't want to work.

Quick question on these--I just purchased some shrinky dink paper, and I'd like to know, what type of medium did you use to color these? I'd like to know what would work the best. Thanks! XD

I went the insane route and used Prismacolor pencils to color them. That's the only reason they are as vibrant as this. I'd definately go with color pencils no matter what, I've had the best luck with them.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind :3 I got ShrinkyDinks (YAY!) and a generic type that says I have to bake them between two sheets of medium weight vellum paper. Good grief.

O.o I've never read anything like that. All the differetn brands I've used say to bake it on top of something like brown paper from a bag and bake it with the colored side up. Vellum paper? That's a bit posh, isn't it?

OH MY GOD. You are amazing! I love the akatsuki cloud, the alchemists cross, the ddr arrow, and especially that little evil black kitty! Are you going to sell them online sometime if there are more after the con? I would really like one!

I'm more than willing to sell them online. ^^ They've be $3 a piece plus $5 shipping. I can also possibly do any other characters or symbols you'd be interested in. These are just an example, so I have a lot more then just what's listed there.

Ahhh these are so great ; ; I loove love love the Akatsuki one. to tha max yo. What do you use to color them in? I use crayola colored pencils on my shrinky dinks, and they don't come out that vibrant :0

Prismas. T___T I feel ashamed for using such expensive pencils on just shrinkydinks but they don't use all that much of the oencil thankfully.

Prismas in my opinion are THE best color pencil on the market. Other's will disagree but all the times I've worked with them compared to all the others, specifically other professional grade pencils, they've worked for me the best. I highly recommend them. They are worth what you pay, for sure!
And you should totally make shrinky dink keychains and stuff! That would rock! I'm sure people would buy them too. Your art is so neat!

Oh, go to Michael's to get shrinky dinks. I've been pricing around and seeing where's the best and Michael's is deffinately the best place to get them. And they have all sorts of different kinds too, like black, white, printables, clear, a packet of various colors, etc.

Longer than I wanted them to? XD Nah, once I finally finish the drawing for the charm, it takes no time at all. Anywhere from 2-10 minutes to color each. The DDR arrow probably took the longest.
And man, I really really wish I had a cell phone now! I'll probably just end up sticking some on my camera and messenger bag.

Go buy them at michaels! I found them at michael's for so much cheaper. Plus, my michael's will take competitor coupons so I get them for about half the price. Joann's is the same price, but it have less in the packages. x.x
